Meeting a new guy’s friends?

So this guy I started seeing invited me to go to dinner with him and some of his friends. Does this mean he’s wanting to possibly make this a more serious relationship?

Yeah. It's a pretty simple answer. The level he is going for depends on the guy, but that is definitely a move to step up. Between getting their opinion of you to gaining their approval to integrating you into his life, there are a lot of things that will benefit him by showing you off to his friends.
