Meeting his friends for the first time... Any tips?

I put another post last night, but it was probably a weird time to post and fell by the wayside...

Basically the guy I am seeing, exclusively but not officially, has asked me to go see his friend's band with him in a local pub (British bar). Been seeing him about a month cos I've been busy with essays, but met up twice and on those two times it was for 2 nights each - he stayed at mine 2 nights, then I stayed at his 2 nights.

So yeah, firstly, got any tips?

Secondly, how do I interpret him asking me along?

In my experience, when a guy introduces you to a friend of his (generally speaking a very long friendship) it's to show his friends (who I guarantee you he's been telling his buddies about you ^_^) his new partner.

It sounds like he's very comfortable with the relationship as it is now, maybe he wants to get closer or see how to are around his friends in order to see how well the relationship can be.

Generally speaking, you get along great with his friends, the relationship gets to the next more deeper levels of commitment.

His friends are probably going to dish about how your significant other has met them, been there for them, how he feels (maybe), etc etc.

Just be you, be open to his friends, even if at first things seem awkward.

secondly, I'd interpret that as a great thing. ^_^

Hi! Well I just got back, and it couldn't have gone better. I got on really well with his mates, especially his best mate and his girl mate, who turned to me and said "We like you".

Really nice, funny, open people. A lot of people I can get on well with too. :)

Well of course just look cute, primarily because if you haven't seen this guy that often it's always nice to look cute for the guy you're interested in =) And as cliche as it is- be yourself. His friends like him and he likes you for who you are so I'm sure they'll like you. The first time I met my boyfriend's friends I was totally myself and now we all hang out all of the time.

He wants you to meet his friends because he likes you and he wants them to like you too. Just have fun and relax!

Its a very good sign if he wants you to meet his friends. He is comfortable integrating you into other aspects of his life.

Don't worry about impressing anyone. Just be respectful to him, and go easy on the PDA

That's what I did, I didn't really do any PDA cos I was interested in getting to know his mates, who were lovely. It couldn't have gone better. His best mate and girl mate turned to me and said "We like you" at one point. :)
