I am reasonably desireable in my own eyes, and have been in 4 serious relationships all with attractive women. The most recent I proposed to but it fell appart as we both changed over time, 3/4 of these relationships were initiated by the girlfriend. I have only been hit on twice aince the breakup, I think because I don't appear interested or too arrogant.
