Why do people on here miss the point when I try to explain to them why someone doesn’t want to date them?

Always people crying. Now nobody wants to date them… you explain to them and they come back with “nothing wrong with having high standards”

You just totally missed the point of everything I tried to tell you… Sure nothing wrong with having whatever standards you want…. But the same goes for them as well. Who you’re wanting to date.

They don’t have to date you either… and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But the more I talk to them. The more I start to realize why nobody wants them. Nobody worth their salt at least

It could be because you're knocking them while trying to 'help' them, and also pretending that you are desirable so it gives you the authority to say someone else is not. Which is pretty rude, dismissive, and not offering any value in even talking to someone. Most people on GaG - or the rest of the Internet for that matter - are not really trying to give people quality advice or answers. They're really looking to be as snappy/sarcastic as possible, trying their hardest to sound like experts, or pretending they know exactly who the person is they're trying to help.

Also people get frustrated when someone answering their question is not really paying attention to the details and exuding selective reading and listening instead.

Ironic that someone who is confident in telling people that nobody wants them chooses to be anonymous.

Because you're not really trying to help them, but remove them from the competition. They're confused and hurting, still having standards tho, but you respond by belittling and throwing out shaming language. It's passive aggressive. Learn empathy.

I do have empathy. But I’m being honest… Many people want people to tell them what they want to hear and it turns into a argument.

People can have high standards. But it doesn’t mean someone has to be with them. It works both ways…

Many times they want someone who can get any woman or and man they want… What makes them want them? Especially people who demand the world form someone but offer little to none in return

It's just that the people asking don't know what to do so they ask and the answerer usually responds like it's the easiest thing in the world and not appreciating how difficult it is for some to break out of their fears of rejection or being shy. Really sociable people usually can't empathize with the fears and frustration, not to mention loneliness, of less popular or more awkward people.

The problem with guys who attack you when question their standards is they try to earn their respect through their difference and not through their dignity and personal class. I know people who will cling to the one sin they do not do and use that to condemn others, because they want to believe they are better then others, when they do not do the things that would make them better then others, such as seeing a therapist or doing things to make others happy.

That's fair. But why can't men accept women's experiences. GAG is here for a reason. Men ask all these questions and act like women (women's profiles) as well.. when I tell you something that may seem negative about a good man and most suffer from it. Why not just learn from it. Yes I’m aware there is men pretending to be women and women who pretend to be men. It’s a common problem and some are easy to tell others aren’t.

It’s more of responding TO questions that I have the problem with. If I ask a question. Yeah I get some BS answers. Whatever. Sometimes I may not like the answer. But at least I have it and hey I asked for it.

I rarely ever delete comments. Unless someone’s being nasty or just spouting irrelevant nonsense
