When you give them less history they only have so much information to go by. This is where the mind starts to make up all kinds of things - you start to imagine when there is only so much information. When info is withheld people go nuts and it makes them want something even more.
For example , I have been told that many times over the years that I am not too shabby looking. Also, I am very quiet and I usually keep to my self. I have come to see that this is a weird combination - at work and whem I was younger in school I would have women flirt with me and I would usually not flirt back- I was too much in my own world at the time. I guess many women saw this as me being mysterious.
It would drive them nuts.
I have had cases of women calling me multiple times a day or following me home or flirting with me for months. Sometimes they would ask me straight out if I wanted to shag them. It gets annoying after a while. Now at my age I just flat out tell them I am not interested.
A small part of me understands some of the excitement, and especially to someone with a vivid imagination... perhaps a "blank slate", if you will, and maybe a sense of excitement and adventure. But I'm the opposite type. I'm drawn to what I perceive as the most genuine, the most open.
I thought similar actually thank you
Merry Christmas dear
Because if we are forced to use our imagination to understand someone, we’ll often go to an alluring place in our minds.
Probably because curiosity is in our nature. So we want to unravel the mystery, have a little peek behind the mask 😉

Because of the apparent challenge to break that shell. As if it was worthy it.
Girls have this idea of chasing a brooding guy hoping he has a soft spot
It's because you have a challenge placed infront of you. You have to work for his attention and you don't know everything about that person's life. Meaning you'll imagine weird things and start to gain interest in that person. The thing is someone being mysterious is only attractive for so long until the point that person is either afraid of being vulnerable or that person isn't into you which either one can turn off someone pretty quickly.
"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." Walt DisneyAlfred Hitchcock was a master of the implied image: he knew the power of not revealing everything!
I think it is similar to why we wrap presents. A bit of suspense, a touch of mystery and some delayed gratification all heighten the intrigue.
Me, I'm terrible at surprises... I like to know what I'm getting but once I know, the extra mystery adds to the enjoyment.
I understand as I often get called those things at the same time, perhaps it's because that person is pleasant to be around, and it makes people curious why that person is that way so they wanna know more about them, excitement and intruige I assume.
I got this answer when I asked one of my friends about it, she has experience.
Ah! :D
Haha... it's the intoxication of investigation. The exploration. The wonder. The getting out of your "zone" and venturing the universe, baby.
The excitement :D
They give the impression there's something worth being secretive about, and as a curious human, you want to know what it is. You want to be the one who "gets inside" where others aren't allowed. Often times, you'll be disappointed, I've found. :)
Because they are beautiful and quite they don't let to many people in to deep and there is something always so hot and sexy about that
Because it's a secret that you are dying to find out. An itch that you want to scratch badly but can't reach it :)
Because being transparent and predictable for others isn't attractive at all.
You can project whatever qualities you want on them and you feel privileged if they open up to you.
Don’t know why that’s the case, but I’ve always used it to my advantage
People have been attracted to mystery for centuries, it's human nature.
Because you can't figure them out, and there is something extremely intriguing about things that are just out of reach.
People are nosey and want to know more about them. This makes them more appealing but once you get down to the meat and potatoes you will lose interest
It's the mystery and getting to know more about them.
Because we are intrigued by what we don't understand.
Because @Wowgirl30q likes to be mysterious and keeps me guessing. Lol 😂
Wowgirl just decided Kentucky bourbon is way better then Tennessee bourbon 👍
I got both so anytime you want me to pour you drink. 😏
Because they have something you don't have a personality worth something
Well I don't feel that way, so there.
It's more of a girl thing.
Not boring, like a puzzle to figure out. Alluring or unknown makes them sexy
cause u can't figured them out like everyone else and that makes u curious
Because there is something they are not revealing and it keeps you wanting to know them more
Because they are more fun... at least it seems that way
People thrive and live for that unknown or what if. Everyone wants that one moment.
Everyone loves solving mysteries.
Some should not be solved 🙂
Im an open book is the most boring phrase in the history of time.
I'm a mystery wrapped in a riddle and heels
I like you
I won't ask you don't tell
because they have something to hide sherlock
I don't know 😐 maybe your jealous
Damn good question. Beats the hell out of me.
Because people want what they can't have
Why do we watch movies? Same thing.
Because we are naturally curious nosey
It makes them yearn for more.
