If they're both recognized as adults, and they're "in the same place" as far as what they want, and they've talked about it, then ok. It's fine. But, there are going to be a lot of people who don't like it. Many will probably find it creepy, depending on the man's age (usually man being older).

I used to be 25/30 and I remember singles events where there'd be 45 year olds hitting on 25 year olds, while ignoring the few 30 and older women who would show up. It was usually creepy; age did seem to have something to do with it, but it was also just being clueless, too aggressive, acting weird, etc. - Then again, there were issues with girls in that group labeling ALL the "ugly" guys as creepy, and the guys would avoid them because they figured they couldn't afford the reputation of being "creepy." (Which didn't help, because the only ones that would flirt would be the clueless creepy 45-50 year old dudes).

I don't see a problem if they're two consenting adults, same if you flip it around and a 35 year old woman is dating a 19 year old man.

Honestly, I just find it odd that there isn't an equivalent term for cougars for older men. People want what they want. If it's a LTR I'd just make sure he has life insurance as it's highly unlikely he'll be outliving her.

Just be practical, and realize if we're going to be an open and accepting society, that's what we're going to be. At least on my end, what consenting adults do with and to each other is none of my business.

I think only a perverted 35 yr old would date a teenager. Let’s be honest there’s no way the 35 yr old would have absolutely anything in common with a 19 yr old in any aspect.

You never see a young man with vitality in his 20a dating teenage girls, it’s always the old guys in their 30s losing their youth , desperate to date teenagers.

I would find it... Odd. in my opinion very few who are normal dates people that much younger than them. There is usually some reason why they cannot get a women their age, they could be immature, or have other type of behaviors people their age do not accept.
However they're both over 18, so it wouldn't be illegal. I'd advise the girl to be careful though

When I was 31. I met a woman at a club she told me her birthday was in a month. A few weeks later met the same girl in the same club she said she was 20. I ended up taking her home, found out later she was 19 turning 20 not 20 turning 21. We dated for a while, had a bunch of fun and are friends to this day. The reason why we broke up was because she wanted a baby. My daughter was 12, and I just didn't want another kid. She found another guy and they're quite happy, her, her husband and their son. I don't think many people even realized how much older than her I was. And I never got any crap.

No that's too big of a age difference. When you're 19 you're young and not really settling down yet because you're focusing on improving our own life. At 35 you're a different stage in life. Unless it's really compatible and good relationship I don't see it going well

It's not immoral or anything, but that's too young for me. I go by the 1/2 your age +7 rule. So I'm 35 divided by two is 17.5 + 7 = 24.5. So 24-25 is the youngest I would likely date (a. k. a. be open to a relationship)

I would sleep with any woman I'm attracted to that is of legal consenting age if I wanted to. Understand the difference?

It comes down to subconsciously wanting someone who can bear children easier. Younger women seem more fertile and are at less of a risk typically for bearing children. It also comes down to attraction, younger women are far more attractive than older.
