What makes guy commit to a relationship?

So i've known this guy for a month, and we have sex almost every weekend. And the sex is amazing. I am also trying to have good communication with him. Short conclusion, i like him a lot and want us to be exclusive. But everytime i brought this topic up, he will say that he needs time.

So why he needs long time? Is there any other thing I should do to make him sure for commitment?

May be he don't want to be commmit. May be he thinks he's not ready yet to commit. Don't force him. In relationship it's not necessary to be on same level. So be patient and ask him quietly what the problem is. And then if you still wants to continue relation then you can. Or you can leave him if you don't want such relationship.

Saying he needs time likely means that he doesn't see you as a girlfriend and just wants sex with you but he doesn't want to make you upset or offend you. If you want to find a guy that wants to commit to you, find a guy that wants to commit and not just have sex.

It depends if the guy have been final with his life decision sometimes coming in relationship is hard as people have commitments in life first ask the reason the time he need then it can clarify if you can help

Options are different case he might be confused whom to prefer but if you having a good talk before or after sex it means he might be interested

Maybe you should have been exclusive before sex as they say why buy the cow when you get the milk for free although there are some people out there that don't mind buying what they get for free

Maybe he sees sex as just a mutual physical exchange.
Once it's over he's gone again.
