I think to some extent it does come across as a little desperate as a tactic to lock him down. You want to build the relationship first by getting to know them really well. Part of the fun is building the sexual tension and attraction when dating someone. When you do it straight way, it takes all that suspense away in the bedroom which is obviously the fun part. Work you way to it until you’re sure he’s the right guy then you can go do the physical stuff.
