Do certain pets make people undateable?

For example, I really don't like cats. If a woman owns cats, I don't want to visit her house/apartment; I think they stink, and they like to go straight from their litter box to the dish drying rack.

No. Pets don't really determine who I fall in love with. In fact, I don't really get to pick and choose who I fall in love with. It sorta just happens.

I have to disagree; who we fall in love with is (to some extent) determined by who we spend our time with. Obviously, we don't get to pick everyone we're around; people we with work with aren't really a choice.
