Guy I met online wants me to talk to him everyday?

I met him online a week or so ago. Ever since then we’ve spoken for a few hours each day. It’s nothing person but I’m just losing interest and I don’t want to spend hours everyday texting him. It’ll soon be the time when we usually talk but I just wanna do my own thing. Last night he said that he was sad from me becuase I didn’t text him during the day to ask how he was so I’m scared of his reaction if don’t text him. I don’t want to upset him. What is the best thing to do?

Ah okay so I've had something kind of similar happen so here is what I can recommend. Firstly if he gets upset then say that you are quite busy or that you have to do your own thing as if he complains that he'll be upset sometimes its for the better as you can stand your ground so to speak and not let him exploit your compassion which even if he isn't he still needs to learn independence. Also you could stop using the messaging service he's contacting meaning he can't message you anymore unless you use the messaging service for other stuff in which case never mind. But honestly I think the best thing to do is tell him up front that you have your own stuff to do as I'm also kind of a softie sometimes when people want to talk to me but I eventually realised things weren't going to change so I decided to stop talking to the person who was constantly messaging and it worked. Its really nice that you show concern however which def proves that you are not in the wrong in my eyes!

Its weird that this guy is just this attached in a week. I mean, you have just started talking. Can you imagine how he can become the more time passes?
Either be honest with him or just ignore his texts. Or reply many hours later. He'll get the message hopefully.

U gave him more time from the beginning so he might afraid that u will not give him that amount of time again or maybe he's jealous u are speaking with someone else
