Do you prefer introverted or extroverted people?

And why?  personally, I prefer introverts, because I am introverted myself. But extroverts can be a nice balance if they’re fun to be around.

I find myself to be an ambivert. I can talk a lot and don’t mind going out in large crowds when I’m comfortable with someone but I like to have my me time here and there to recharge and I love to observe.

As long as the extrovert doesn’t force me to hang out with them it’ll be alright but then if I’m comfortable with them I’d like to go out with them as they’ll be my safe bubble. I love their never ending energy and how open they are, they could make me open up real quick.

Introverts, on the other hand, match my needs more. The need of just being quiet, in my emotions, observing stuff. But because we’re both quiet we’d have communication issues.

I’m more drawn to extroverts. They make me go out of my comfort zone and just generally have that strong energy that makes me intrigued and feel at ease.

I really like that chart. From that list, I can see that I'm more on the introverted side. I definitely like to think very deeply before making decisions and I also enjoy one-on-one conversations better than trying to talk to groups of people. I HATE having to make fast decisions. When I do that, I almost always end up regretting the decision that I made.

As far as who I prefer being around, I'd have to say introverts. Extroverts can be fun to talk to, but they can also be annoying. And I often feel criticized by them because they are always complaining about me and saying that I don't talk enough. I don't tend to have as many problems with getting along with introverts.

I'm slightly extroverted, but I prefer the company of introverts, especially in a romantic partner, because it allows me to take the lead and direct conversation, and I enjoy breaking people out of their shells and introducing them to new ideas and experiences.

I have to point out though, that the graphic was obviously created by an introvert, because it's conflating introversion with conscientiousness, and extroversion with lack thereof in a few examples lol.

I'm an introvert but I prefer to be around extroverts. I don't fully understand it, and believe none of us ever will, but I've made it a philosophical expedition to gather as much wisdom as I can about it, at least to better understand myself and why I am the way I am. I have to say being introverted at times feels more like a burden mentally the same way a wheelchair would be a burden physically. I do envy the extroverts of the world in that respect.

As an introvert, I'm always drawn to other introverts!

The only issue is, because we're introverted, it's hard to befriend or hang out with them since I rather be alone most times! Lol.

So I like finding that balance of introvert that knows when to reach out and doesn't mind occasionally going out.

Basically, an ambivert or introvert.

I'm an introvert myself. I find it hard to keep up with the desired and required activities of extroverts. Unless they are specific people like relatives or close friends and previous classmates, I frequently find extroverts lack some insight into themselves to communicate humbly and/or understandingly with you.

I'm an introvert but I am drawn to extroverts. They seem to never run out of energy from social interactions, and I like to act extrovert around others but it doesn't work as well. My husband goes on and on and on and on and on and on 🗣️ in a social environment whereas I burn out much faster and listen more than talk. Now I can talk one-on-one for a long time, but social environments are my weakness and I do envy extroverts there loll.

But I'm not interested in the girl talking my ear off all night demanding my whole attention every time we're together like at the house especially if we see each other pretty much every day. Sometimes I like to watch TV or work on the computer for a little bit without having to answer questions all night
