What does it mean if a guy says "whenever your ready"?

What does it mean if a guy says you can give him your number when ever your ready? What does that mean? This guy asked for my number but I didn't give it to him so he told me to if I was going to think about it and I said okay. Today I saw him and he told me that I was playing around by not giving him my number. So then he said whenever your ready. What does that mean? Is he willing to wait? Is that a good sign?

The guy point blank told you what he wants from you: your number!!! He is, or was, interested in you. But YOU need to show him the feeling is mutual by giving him your number.

He's trying to be patient by putting the ball in your court- that shows him you're mutually interested and want to get to know him more.

He thinks you're playing because you're taking your time doing so. Even if you're uncomfortable giving him your number too soon, tell him!!!
Or hang out with him in person and get to know him then.

"Is he willing to wait? Is that a good sign?" Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how patient he is and how much he likes you. It sounds like he's getting impatient and thinks you're just stringing him along.

I suggest next time you see him: give him your number, or let him go if you're not ready to date him right now.
