Guys, would you date a girl who could beat you up?

She is a master at hand-to-hand fighting, has a black belt in karate, is trained in mixed martial arts and kickboxing, is 5'10", weighs 170 lbs, and can deadlift 250. She's a nice person, but takes no crap from anyone and could kick your ass six ways from Sunday (unless you too are as skilled), as well as most people's. She's not "good for a woman." She's "world champion good." Would you date her?

Yes... though I think it partially depends on how "buff" or "cut" they are. But if I think she's cool, not too obsessed, had the personality I liked, and was beautiful, sure.

I think that it would probably encourage ME to start learning at least some of those techniques for myself.

Of course, I would hope she'd use her brain first before trying to get into a physical fight, but it's nice if she has those things as a backup. Let's say she encountered some drunk guy who was 'just' being an ass, I'd hope she'd think to walk away, or if someone brings a gun, I'd hope she'd call the cops. But if someone was trying to assault her, or a friend, by all means...

I doubt any of them would date me, though.

Yes, she would. She's kind of a "never hit first" kind of a person. Unless the other person had a weapon or dangerous object or something.

I have a black belt in Shotokan Karate, so we would get along well.
We could even spar together, although to improve she would need someone younger and faster than I am these days.
I have become strictly a counter striker, because I am too old and slow to attack. :-(
My strategy is to let the 20-somethings and teenagers bounce around the mat, burning off their stored energy, becoming tired, becoming slower, then to nail them when they come in for the attack.
If they try to kick, they will have a very bad day. :-)

People who have taken there training officially will have the psychology to not react in anger by using their disciplined arts Normally because their hands are now considered blunt instruments that could become of interest with the police for crimes that have been committed so they can be illuminated from there enquires So where ever they maybe they must register with the local police If you don't trust her then why even debate whether she could be trusted to be violent or not

I'm not a cheater or anything so it's not like she has a reason to lose it and attack me.
