Do guys miss kind women and regret rejecting them in the end?

If a guy rejects possibly becoming romantic past flirting or possibly friends with benefits relationship with girl... will he miss the girl if she was kind, thoughtful, and tried to make him happy? Especially if the major reason was an age gap? And the girl didn't rip his head off over it but still remained kind and thoughtful in parting?

The only way he is gonna miss that girl is if he can't find better or anyone at all. This works for any kind of relationship situation

Yep... regardless of age men ate wired the same way when it comes to sex and attractiveness etc

I figured attraction works regardless. I just... hate being told I'm not enough to date. I told him I can't flirt anymore because he sees us never developing further... I don't know if I go silent and just disappear if it might knock sense in him... I don't see any other 29 year olds talking or flirting with him any time soon. But who knows... I just don't understand why I wasn't enough to chance me. He keeps saying life stages and age gap is why we'd never happen.

@Asker life stages and gaps.. hmm.. maybe he doesn't think you have much in common to pursue a relationship with. He wants someone on his level maybe? Gaps can be difficult because sometimes two people are just from two different worlds.

Probably. Well since we aren't going to be sexual anymore he's probably not going to hangout with me so... we'll probably never know. I told him that I don't want to flirt or sleep with him anymore because he says we'd never be more than friends. Which... is frustrating if we are/were compatible. Guess we'll never know. I suggested that we could still hangout and he said friends hangout (we're still friends). So... we'll see after this week what happens. I'd be very surprised if he still wanted to hangout as platonic friends.

@Asker you were right to stop having sex. What's the sense? However, friendship is still possible but I believe he may wanna try to weasel his way back into having sex with you if you do so you will have to be careful with this one

We actually never got to have sex but we were getting close to it with heated discussions. I will keep an eye on him. He did text me after a few days and just had friendly conversation. We'll see what happens!
