This guy I been dating to for the past month told me he needs more friends and seeing me out with my friends this past weekend made him realize he’s a lonely person.
I feel a way about it cause we been going on dates and talking everyday but he’s lonely? Are we not friends?

He's lonely because he has no real friends. You may see him as a friend, but to him you're just a girl he dates. The moment you guys stop dating he knows you won't be there. He needs "real" friends.
