Why guy friend tells you he is single and he feels lonely?

Because you are his friend, and he is tell you as a freind he is lonely and single. Like maybe since you are woman, you might be able to link him up with a freind of yours or at least talk to other woman about this guy you know. Maybe do a little match making for him.

Or it could mean that you just want to date you and is hoping you would be interested... but if that is the case then this would explain why he is single and lonely. If had feelings like that about you then he should be more direct about it.
