Is this a red flag?

He definitely uses those emojies because he doesn't put any meaning into them. Maybe he's overzealous a bit, but if you're looking for love on Tinder, you've already made a mistake. If you want something with serious potential, the VERY first thing you need to tell him is you're not here for a hook up. Tell him not to expect sex until you know the relationship is real, however long that takes. Then see if he's still sending you cute little emojis.

It was an invitation to a group of friends going to dinner. We aren't interested in each other romantically or sexually.
