Texting a guy I only dated briefly “I miss you”?

We only went on a couple of dates and did get physically intimate as well but I broke things off because he doesn’t seem to want a relationship out of it and i’m ready to take things further. It ended quick and cold so I was hoping his ego got the best of him that time so he responded coldly. But the period of no contact is making me really miss him. I want to reach out to him and tell him while I do miss him, we don’t have to meet if he does not want to. Just to put it out there because it is what I feel towards him. If he doesn’t respond then fine i’ll go my merry way and might help me really accept that it’s really over. But how often do people who text this to guys they broke things off with get a response?

Well remember you wanted a relationship and he didn't. That's why you cut him off. It's not because you felt the chemistry was gone or met someone else. He kinda did it to himself and if anything he should be the one to text you that he misses you first to fix things. I'd say don't text him. Go on with your life and I'm pretty sure he'll contact you again. Just make sure it's sincere and not a "suuuuppp" type of text or phone call. And if he is sincere just go with the flow don't pressure nothing. Meaning, don't "discuss" status of you two... because it'll all fall into place with you guys with time. Best of luck. But no don't text him!! :)

If you are the one who broke it off and you tell him that you miss him, that will do 2 things most likely, make him mad at you and it will also probably hurt his pride as well, but he will probably hate you to some extent, I wouldn't recommend saying "I miss you".
