Would a white American guy care about my Latin accent as a Latina?

I have always liked white guys. I am from Ecuador and moved to the United States a few years ago. I get really really shy around them though. I just feel like they would find my accent a turn off because I have a strong Latin accent. I hear the way they sound and I get shy to the point where I turn red when. I do notice white guys tend to not approach me unless i would smile at them first. I have a flirty smile and stare and sometimes they would smile back and walk towards me then I would immediately regret it and turn red and get really hot. I am light enough around my face area that you can tell when I get shy. Now with corona virus and face masks, I have an advantage to hide my shyness lol I'm sorry for the crazy details. I type fast lol

I WOULD care about it, but in the context that I really LIKE their accents!

I- for one- really like Latinas. (And I'm a Czech-Bohemian gringo!) I can do a taco salad and empanadas as well or better than pork and dumplings with kolachky!

We had been going to a new church for several years, and my mentor was a Mexican pastor. He was and still is - a great guy in all respects. And the best preacher I've heard in a long time because he will not avoid the tough topics just so people won't "get offended". Due to a change of direction in that church away from Biblical teaching and massive personnel changes (this pastor was NOT part of the change), we returned to our previous church. And I still stay in frequent contact of the Mexican pastor.

We do have several Latin families in our church, and most of the Latina wives volunteer for various activities, the most common being helping at our weekly Food Pantry. They are some of the most honest, hard-working members we have in the church. Some of them have a heavy accent, while others have barely a trace, but all of them sound really nice. They look very nice too! I thought a mom with her daughter were actually sisters! :- )
I think that they like to help me improve on my high school Spanish, and they are great at interpreting for our Latin and Mexican guests to the Pantry. [ I've had to learn some specialized Spanish for my profession as a Massage Therapist. (Donde esta dolor? ) ]

Many American guys LOVE women with foreign accents. There are guys who like Latin accents, guys who like eastern European accents, guys who like Asian accents, etc. When a woman has a heavy accent, it may be a challenge for some guys, but many guys will accept that challenge and spend time getting to know you and getting accustomed to your accent.

I have dated women from China, India, Philippines, Brazil, Colombia, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia. I don't regret a minute that I spent with any of those women. Are you sure that you aren't using your accent as an excuse when the real problem may simply be a lack of self-confidence regardless of culture?

I never understood people’s ignorants with accents. I have friends n even my boyfriend has a accent n I don’t mind n find it sexy too lol. Don’t stress it but remember tho every guy u meet is different and some might be offensive and some will be chill

I think lots of guys would love it. The ones who don’t are not the guys you want anyway. However, the right guy won’t care about your accent. He’ll just love you. And welcome to the United States 😊

In the US you'll meet all sorts of people. Some will hate you for effectively no reason, many people will love you for what makes you, you. Even white people have to deal with that (admidditly to a lesser extent)

Most Americans are used to foreigners and Latinos are probably the ones we're the most accustomed to. Also, Spanish is very sexy language, it flows no nicely. And I think the accent usually isn't much of a problem. As long as people can understand what you're saying. I think if anything it's gonna make guys like you more and see you as special and exotic.

Also by the way I love Ecuadorians! I had Ecuadorian neighbors and they were the most chill, relaxing, people I ever meet. Very nice, very enjoyable to be around.

Don't worry about your accent. Lots of Hispanic people have accents and nobody Minds. I personally think the accent is very cute and attractive. I understand you feel shy and that can be very uncomfortable but you probably are very pretty and that should help a lot in terms of being able to talk to guys. If it helps you to know this I've been trying to learn to speak Spanish for the last 5 years and I've not been successful. I lived in Mexico for a while and I couldn't speak Spanish and it was very embarrassing. I know how you feel.

Some will find it attractive and exotic. There’s no reason for you to be embarrassed by it. Imagine how they would sound if they were in Ecuador speaking Spanish. Plenty of white men will be attracted to you. It happens all the time.
