we where so close his family was my family then he cheated on me and then left me for another girl, he dated her for a month or so now he’s coming back to me, they beat up this guy together and he’s in legal trouble and blaming their crime on her... I don't know what to say

He's come running back, simply because the relationship with this new girl has flopped. He will find someone else and cheat/leave again - do not put yourself back in that position for him to keep picking you up and putting you back down again when he's bored.

You're better than that and you deserve so much more than him.
