Should I forgive my boyfriend for cheating?

I recently found out my boyfriend was cheating and he said it was a mistake and that he will never do it again but i still don’t feel right.

I've done this with various men even in a 7 yr marriage and 5 yr relationship and more. I never get past it and end up breaking up. It's impossible to get past this kind of trauma which I now take with me into new relationships
