Should I forgive my boyfriend for lying?

HI, I've just found out my boyfriend has lied to me. About a month ago I found out he has visited a website called 'chaturbate' it basically has cam girls who you can watch for free and send messages to in a chatroom. When i asked him about it he told me he had been told his friends sister was on it and him and another friend thought it would be funny to go and check. I didn't believe him at all and he got angry because of this. It was brought up a few times but he kept sticking to the same story. However, last night I seen he had searched for 'free tokens on chaturbate ' so I confronted him again and he still tried to tell me the same story again and was annoyed I had brought it up. Eventually, after packing up all my stuff and telling him I was moving out and going back to my mums He told me the 'truth'. That he had visited the website while I was away and the tokens are to tip girls to get them to do stuff on cam in the chatroom. I don't know if I can forgive him for this. To me it feels like I've been cheated on and I don't know if I've been given the full story. It's also making me think about whether he's been lying about other stuff too.

Yeah that is totally wrong. Because it is actual girls.. If it was like porn, just watching videos, that's forgivable, but not this. If I were you I'd break it off, it's flirting with other girls, so what stops him from doing it face to face? They're pleasuring him over camera, so yes it is cheating. That's the problem with lies. Once you catch your partner in a lie, how do you know whether to trust them again? In my world, there are two types of people:

1. People who have never lied to me, and who deserve to be trusted; and

2. everyone else.

Never have a relationship with someone unless they are in the first category.

It's the lying that's really got to me. If he explained everything at the time I think I'd have understood.

I've also been on the site and it's a lot more than girls just stripping.

But it does make me feel horrible like I'm not enough for him. Normal porn would be fine, this isn't.

After thinking things through, I think you're right. He's obviously denied it because he was embarrassed and/or to save my feelings. Which I guess I understand.

i think the problem isn't so much the site but the lying and repeated lying about it AND the fact that he only came clean when the threat of losing the relationship presented itself. basically it says that he will lie as long as he feels he suffers no consequence.

it's up to you but i'd be very weary about being in a situation like that. i'd fear that i can't trust the person

I think one lie leads to another, your better off taking a break from him yes he shouldn't lie to you. I think it's totally wrong. I don't know what's wrong with guys they have a nice girlfriend and still want more and they always think the grass is greener on the other side.
