I wasn’t honest becuase I didn’t want to speak about my ex, I don’t care about him and just wanna focus on the present. He’s really upset that I didn’t tell him. I wanna make it up to him but understand if he wants to dump me for it

Honestly, I don’t understand why would you lie about that, but I guess it depends on what type of person he is. He maybe sees it as a white lie and gets over it or takes it seriously and decides to end things.

Trust and communication are a key in a relationship and I think it’s bad to start it off with a lie, even if it’s a “small” one 😐

Ha, I can't imagine my LD ex telling me she was never a virgin. Lies are the foundation of a week relationship.

Certainly he'll dump you. If you lied about that you're capable of lying about greater things.

As we get older we all have a history, so for me that has never been an issue.

Depends on what kind of person he is. From my perspective, your lie was a white lie. If I was your boyfriend, I'd ask why you felt the need to lie about this, but I wouldn't dump you over it. If he dumps you over something so small, it shows how much the relationship actually meant to him.
