So for a very short time, I dated a sex worker without knowing she was one. When she told me, I had to rethink things and also talk to her. First, I was truly interested in her as she was beautiful, funny, and smart. Second, I doubted I could handle her sleeping with a LOT of other men as I had feelings for her. She did for me as well, but she pointed out that she made a lot of money that she needed and that she had no other reasonable way to make that much. We broke up. :(

Date/friends with benefits? Sure. Relationship or more? Probably not.

It really depends on how you meet and the sex work they did and whether they are still doing it. We talking a stripper? Escort? Cam girl? Some random girl doing OnlyFans? You more than likely would have to meet them in person or outside of work for starters to stand a chance. If you meet them in their environment, you are nothing but a target to get money from since they despise men who seek that out.

I would be skeptical of her intentions and I don't like the idea of other guys flirting and interacting with her if we were in a relationship. It would feel like emotional cheating and I don't want to have that thought of her possibly being unfaithful floating around my head. Don't need that stress or hassle.

You can no more "date" a sex worker, than you can have a "secret" recipe for toast.

There may be different reasons for why they are a sex worker. But depending on the legality of the sex work, you're not really in a one to one relationship.
