Why would a man be single in his 30s?

There’s this very attractive guy I know that just made 30. He’s single.

Seems common enough to me. Stats say around a quarter of people that age have never married and 10% of people are divorced from their first marriage by 30. So at least a third of men should be in that position... Most men don’t even get married until 30 statistically. If you aren’t married as a man, most of the time you’re not serial dating to cling to a relationship status. We don’t have a biological clock that is ticking, we’re not racing to get married, or afraid of old maid status. As a man, you get to sleep around and date women as you please, and occasionally get into longer relationships that might be worth a damn and no one ever bugs you about it. Well women are always asking why aren’t you married yet… You should settle down and get married you’re such a catch. Blah blah blah... But family and friends don't care.

Why not. It's his decision. Maybe he likes it to be single or he is enjoying his freedom. Maybe he is insecure. There are a lot of reasons why a man is single and it doensn't necessarily mean he can't get or find a girlfriend.

Why should men rush into relationships? Men want to enjoy their freedom as long as possible. There is enough time to settle down if we are ready. Also, men are no reserved, we don't want to be in a relationship with the first girl we like or the first girl who gives him attention. Men are getting picky, and that's good. We don't want to be in a relationship with the wrong girl, that's why we wait and stay patient. Their time will come.

Attractiveness is not the bases of a relationship. To be honest that's probably a good reason why as I know that is for me. Just because I'm so cold attractive to certain people that doesn't mean I want to be in a relationship no does it mean I qualify for 1. At the end of the day I'm a human being too. People are too afraid to get to know other human beings. And it leaves you very lonely because now people are making relationships to not only be a chore, but that becoming very unhealthy and toxic. His reasons maybe personal and I don't think as anybody's personal business.

I would guess financial reasons or an inability to attract woman he is interested in - Like if a guy wants to own a house and car before he married he might say until he’s paid off his mortgage to date. Also if a guy is average looking and pursues super models, he might have delayed marriages.

#1: He likes to sleep around.
#2: Relationship causes stress.
#3: Not enough money to be in a relationship or meet relationship goals.
#4: He's a incel.
#5: Maybe he's gay.
#6: Career is a major priority.
#7: He's a monk.

He probably is waiting for the right person and hasn't met them yet. Could be focusing on his career or just enjoying single life.

Why not? What’s the rush,  Long term relationship ended and he’s single. Loads of reasons, but nothing wrong with being 30 or over and single. Divorce etc.

Because he is still heading up hill. He's still young enough to look good, but he's now getting old enough to where he can be socially and professionally respected and taken seriously.

He is just about to hit his SMV peak years (assuming he's not fat). And as a single man, he is primed to enjoy them for a while, then choose the best girl he can and marry/LTR her.
Same way women in their early 20s play with men.
