Why do women have such high standards?

My standards are way lower. All I want is to date a Kpop idol (one that didn't bully autistic kids in high school) and these women out here expecting a guy to have a job? Can you believe this? It's ridiculous!

As I've gotten older I'm seeing women's perspective more that's why I made this question. But I also feel kinda sad because I feel like guys can have almost no standards ourselves. I had standards and an idea of who I wanted to be with and that's one of the reasons I've been alone.

Now I'm lowering them and I feel more open to dating and more ready but I feel weird about how guys just have to be happy about any woman with a pulse that's interested in them it doesn't fit my view of love at all :D But I'll just take it slow and see what happens, I hope I'll find at least 1 woman in my life that I really want to be with and that wants me too.

I just find it comical when a woman who is of low quality, say 2 out of 10 appearance wise says she will only date 10's.. And then they bitch about not being able to find anyone.

I think beauty is very subjective that's why I don't like to rate looks because one person can say that he's 5 out of 10 while other might say she's solid 9 out of 10. What do you consider a 2 out of 10 women and 10 out of 10?

@Minahh a 2 out of 10 could be the hottest person on the planet appearance wise, But if she smokes, does drugs, has a shit personality, is a criminal all of those factors would make her not worth my time no matter how attractive she is.

Because like 70% of all adult men are close enough to the ideal physical weight, so women have to start differentiating by other factors to pick and choose.

I always tell men, imagine a world where 90% of women are between super skinny, and low-end average weight and 90% of men are anorexic and you're not one of them. Now suddenly it would all turn backwards. Women would be thankful just to find a guy who's not anorexic and the 10% of normal men would be picking and choosing women based on other factors like personality, income, education, can they make me laugh, etc. etc.
