Nobody needs someone. I don't need a woman. I can take care of myself. A woman doesn't need a man. She is capable of taking care of herself. I would like to have a woman to spend the rest or my life with, but I am happy and I feel like I don't need a woman.
Well, let those women go beyond 40, "they don't need a man" is gonna turn to "I hate men and they are oppressing women". Because no man is gonna want them but there are some low character men who would want any women for anything and will sell their should and character for nothing.
Need, or want? A woman that doesn’t need a man but still Chooses to spend time with me is paying me a great compliment. She could manage alone, or be with someone, but she chooses to have me in her life. What could be better?
Good. Maybe she has grown up past that BS conservative view that men should provide for women. We don't live in the jungle anymore.
Relationships should be equal now. I'd rather have a woman who wants an equal relationship than some weirdo who wants me to dominate her and make her scrub the floors but I gotta pay for everything. What a strange fucking set up.
"I am a strong, independent woman who don't need no man" is a favorite quote by misandric women who secretly long to have a dominant male figure in their life but are usually too much of a bitch to even get average men to talk to them.

I'm sorry for your experiences. It's not easy to get over traumas, but in the long run, we will all need someone as that his human nature.

A healthy relationship is based on meeting each others needs. That's why we get into relationships in the first place, and a woman wouldn't seek a relationship with a man otherwise.
Here's the bottom line. When a woman says she doesn't need a man, she is just making a statement. It's a reflection of her mindset and her attitudes toward men, and it's not a pretty picture. I find women like that very distasteful and there is no place in my life for them.

It’s an excellent attitude to have if you want to drive people away. It reflects an element of toxicity to their personality. Just obnoxious.
Ironically, they do seem to need men. I’m sure we’ve all noticed that it seems oddly *very* important to them to tell men how much she doesn’t need men.
I should add that women who need to specify that they "don't need, but they want" are still the same brand of women. It's still exactly the same problem and that attempt at delineation is just as obnoxious as the original statement.
Obviously, she does not need/want me. So why would I waste thoughts on her?
However: if the picture sample is a typical example of such women, then I observe that they walk and dress funny.

That is outstanding, my relationships at that age were much more physical and much less with the teamwork. Seriously, that's an uplifting thing to hear.
@razelove Relationships with just physical affection probably won't last long in the grande scheme of things. I prefer to be with someone who I know I'm compatible with, can work efficiently with, and can communicate with. I plan on having children at some point so I'd prefer that they have a healthy environment and active father in their lives. Not sure if that makes sense or if I'm just rambling, because I'm high as shit rn. 😌
It makes sense, those were goals I just didn't have until I was a little farther along, let's see, at your age I had just gotten divorced and was working in strip clubs, modelling, then went back to college. Wasn't until I started getting lonely, because, you know, a fuck buddy isn't someone you have so much for the buddy part as the fucking, that I realized hell, I need to get my shit together.
@razelove It happens to the best of us. Too many people rush into relationships as it is. Enjoy your life, and 'settle down' whenever you're ready. Plus, having a healthy and experimental sex life makes all the difference. I hope you're doing alright love.
It really depends on the attitude. Being confident is good, being independent is great, and the statement is true, but if the attitude is "I'm better than everyone", not good. Like women with guys, confidence is good, arrogance isn't.

Why would we want sex from a woman who is indifferent to our very existence? Funny how when women get called out on being toxic, it's always excused as "men are so triggered and mad lol". Like, just saying "they must be angry losers" isn't indicative of critical thinking on the woman's part. It's just excusing herself of all responsibility for her actions through the convenient deployment of man-shaming. It's called "displacement"...
