What’s your experience with dating a girl who has close guy friends?

This is the first time I’ve ever had a girlfriend l with “guy friends”. Anytime I’m seeing a girl and she has guy friends I never let it get past protected safe sex. This the first time I’ve had a relationship with a girl who only has guy friends and it does make me very uncomfortable 🥵. For some reason I really like this girl. We’ve been in a relationship since September.

She does everything a woman should do for a man. But due to the fact that her friends are guys I’m having trouble getting serious with her. I haven’t introduced to my parents yet. She leaves her phone open and lets me read her texts to show there’s no funny business between her n these guys. But I still get an uneasy feeling. Because she texts/talks to them a lot.

The other day she got mad that I wouldn’t let her look in my phone. Now she’s suspicious of me. I didn’t want her to see my ex texting me her breasts. I liked to picture my ex sent but I did reply. So I was still being faithful!

This mentality confuses me SO much. Are you completely incapable of trust? Have you never had a female friend who was just a friend and nothing more? Or who you were perhaps attracted to, but wouldn't make a move on if she was dating someone else? It may be that girls with lots of male friends are more directly sexual; I don't know. But you DO know that you can ask them their sexual history, right?

Insisting on protected sex is fine, but do you not go and get tested, and have your potential partner do the same, before you start having sex? I suppose that wouldn't work in a ONS situation, but if you're dating, that's not an issue, is it? If you know she's clean, what's the worry? "My new girlfriend is extremely skilled at blowjobs, oh no!"?

If you're worried about her cheating on you, that I can understand, but here's the thing: having a bunch of guy friends and hanging out with them gives a girl insights into how men think. It also gives her an appreciation for it (if it didn't, she wouldn't keep it up very long). And human evolution being what it's been, loyalty and accountability are prized a lot more highly among guys than among girls.

1) She has guy friends. Making a big deal about it makes you look insecure. Not a good look. She knows that you are concerned and shows you her phone. That should be good enough.
2) You're ex should not be sending you pictures of herself. That is worse than having guy friends.
3) Do you have any female friends? Do you have sex with them?

Yes I have female friends. I did sleep with the ones I got super close to. The ones who I haven’t slept with are the ones who I never got close to!

If you dont want her to think your cheating then why keep the evidence on phone.
You not letting her see phone is a mistake. She might hold it against you or cause a fight.
