Is it possible to fall in love with someone's voice?

oh jesus christ the level of stupid astounds me on this site. it's like people on this site keep getting dumber and dumber. ok so let me get this straight. in your own words you never seen him, you met him on discord, you barely know anything about him only the sounds of his voice and yet you love him? are we all on the same page here? how fucking dumb are you jesus christ. i mean seriously jesus fucking christ. I've talked to some women in my past when i was 23 or so years old who had wonderful voices but later turned out to be ugly as fuck not only big and fat but ugly as fuck i mean ugly as all fucking hell on the inside with their nasty personalities. i mean the mean drunk intoxicated verbally violent man hating ugly cheating sides of them came out even though when sober they had the sweetest voices a guy could hear. (one was down in mississippi the other down in wisconsin)

@ShaTTeredMasterpeace not really. when someone comes to you and says they love someone but doesn't know what they look like or much about them except the sound of their voice that's not love and in fact that's just plain stupidity.

our brains are really good at filling in the gaps on how a person is, even from limited information.

it then starts teasing us by drawing positives and triggers against this information.

when you hear him speak, your brain builds up the ideal picture of the person and releases chemicals... emotional attachment develops as you crave these chemicals

As someone that is stimulated most my voices and sounds, I'm gonna say possibly. It can certainly be one thing you love about them. I'm big on voices and tones and accents and such. I've grown very fond of a few voices but that wasn't the deciding factor on whether or not I'd love them.

Yes, this is the realm of woman. I used to think it was absurd, but it has been proven over and over. A woman can fall in love with a man without ever even meeting him. They conjure up all these feelings in their own head - it's a fabricated response from her own brain.
I would encourage you to actually meet up in real life and spend some quality time together, see where it goes. You can't tell anything from just their voice.

I don't believe you can really fall in love with a voice. I believe you can like it a lot and be attracted to a person more for their voice. But definitely not fall in love with it.
