I had one girlfriend that I didn’t like guys I dated to hug 😂 I flip out. Then I’d catch myself she had this cock check where she moved her thigh between the guys leg. She always joked about it with us I would tell
her she be a hood ornament. She would actually look over at me if a boyfriend I had went to hug her. I did get over it and generally I don’t care if a guys talks or hugs a girl. If I was a girl? I would only be okay with my boyfriend giving a side hug. Now if this is like a best friend and they have known each other for a long time then maybe a regular hug. But anything that is a hug that lasts longer than a couple of seconds I would be asking questions. Is the girl rubbing her breasts against his chest? Is the guy pressing his crotch inward toward her hips? Where is his arm placement? Is it around her lower waist?

Yeah hugging is a question mark and definitely a tie into being sexual. If you don't like something I would definitely speak up.

I would let my girlfriend hug whoever. It's just being friendly. And no side hugs... that's just cold. A hug is a hug. Unless the dude is feeling her up or whatever, I'm cool with it. And I wouldn't date a girl if she wasn't mature enough to allow just hugs. Hugs is the most physical contact allowed with others of the opposite sex when in a relationship in my opinion.

If you feel uncomfortable about your boyfriend hugging another girl then it's better all around if you tell him this. Depending on how he feels about you, he himself, might want to avoid making you uncomfortable. But then you have to be respectful in return and not have double standards where you're still hugging other guys, if that's something that you do. And if he chooses not to stop or can't come to a compromise then you either need to accept it or move along. It's not fair and never works out well when forced to obey in a relationship. And obviously if it's more than friendly hugs then he just needs to go anyways.

In Greece it's common to greet friends with a hug and a kiss on both cheeks (pre covid). Now most people do handshakes or fist bumps, so you can just leave jealousy to rest for a while. "Let him" is loaded, as in you dictate what he can do, which he might resent. You can tell him about your feelings when you see him hugging sb.
