Not only that, but WHY would you be trying to date a colleague in the first place? That is what I asked people.

To hang out as friends are one thing. Talking about business is another thing. Trying to date a colleague's daughter? BAD IDEA. Unless you have been friends for a very long time with the said daughter, what it translates is: "Hey, I can't wait to screw your daughter, can I get your permission?" Guess what will happen when it turns out bad? You may risk having your job being a living hell to be in. Just don' if your intent is not good and you haven't developed anything with this person.

It's a means to trouble. Again, what logical and rational reason are you to be trying to date a work colleague's daughter? Are you two close? How long have you known each other? These are important things to consider as they can cause scandal and problems to everyone involved.

If you break up, it would be so awkward to go to work, would it not? I mean, there might be little to no age gap, but that would potentially make the work environment toxic, as well. I would advise that you not date a coworker's child.

Never date a colleague offspring and never date colleagues or coworkers or whatever you wish to call it because when it comes to the chain of command it falls apart and nothing gets done. Just a lot of infighting, rumors, and gossip. Try getting a life outside your job.
