Why would a guy be interested to me then stop talking to me?

I was talking and hanging out with a guy who I thought was interested to date me. Recently he would text me every week and asked me if I want to hang out with him during the weekend. I will always say yes and we will plan what we want to do together. Recently I notice whenever we planned to hang out for the weekend he would ignore my message whenever I contact him about if we're still hanging out that day like as planned. He would text me couple days later and make an excuse. Last weekend he texted me to plan to hang out again and I texted him then never heard back from him. Now I just recently found out he's in a relationship. What's up with this behavior? why would a guy act like he is interested and then end up dating someone else?

This is the everyday man and if he’s not then that mean he’s a gem. Guys are getting to know different women and juggling their options. If a guy makes plans with you and he backs out then that’s just a sign to fall back and move onto the next. He doesn’t respect you nor prioritize your time because he has you as a placeholder till the next steps forward.


Don’t take anything that he does personal because his actions is clear that if the two of you were to go further he would be inconsistent. Why stick around for a guy who proved to you that he isn’t willing to stick to his word. I wouldn’t lose any sleep over a guy that is showing me that he’s not putting me first when it comes to quality time. Delete the text thread and go on about your day without showing that you’re bothered.


You’re dating him and he shouldn’t be consuming too much of your time. Whenever you find yourself getting wrapped around a guy too soon think about how he’s speaking to you and other women. The only moment you can let your guard down is when his words and actions are aligning then he asks you formally to be his girlfriend. Till then? Have a good night sleep and kick em’ to the curb.

I’m kinda in ur same boat on this one. A girl that I like and said she liked me just blocked me on Snapchat. I don’t know why. But in ur situation maybe he needs some space?

He sent me a friend request on Facebook and then notice he was not my friend anymore. I asked him why he deleted me and his answer was he deleted his account when I notice he blocked me and then unblocked me. Weird.
