If you deleted someones number because you were done and they deleted you back, why would you then put their number back in your phone after a matter of hours?

Some people aren't ready to get rid of someone or they want to keep them to use them for something later like need a ride or something.

Just forget that person ever existed. Clinging to people we part with is unhealthy and a waste of time and energy if you ask me.

Break-up guilt? I don't understand the question. If I break up with a girl I never look back, I move on. Why are we re-adding a number of someone who we don't like?

Basically I deleted my ex’s number because I saw that she had deleted me. But then a couple of hours later she put my number back in her phone
