They are around you BECAUSE they find you sexually attractive. You care a bit too much about if you aren't ugly or not when your not giving the message that you are deserving of more respect. I get the same thing when I was younger. However many men today are interested in the #1 thing which is sex, and if you are not sexually interested, they will move on to the next girl. They don't really care about what makes you up as a person, but if you are interested in sex or not. And most of them are low-quality men themselves who don't do half of the stuff you do. They see you as somebody to use for sex, but not somebody to love or care for. How they treat you is how they will treat you if you date them and marry them. So you have to decide what type of man you really want and need and make some changes.

Asker, stop worrying about what your friends and other people are doing. This is not a race and your friend's life has 0 to do with you and vice versa. You're doing all of this to play keep up and you need to stop. There is only one reason your friends get relationships quickly because either they are offering sex and or they find your friends more sexually active than you. Some people have a more sexual disposition due to genetics than somebody like you or I. And that is because the women in their line were highly sexual or have higher sex drives and a need for sex and sexual companionship. The only problem is it is at the expense of being used and getting hurt because a lot of guys today don't value you anymore. It is not your fault. But you have to keep yourself and understand your worth. As somebody who never dated, or been with a man, I can tell you it is not the end of the world if you don't have a person for that. It's just society and other people trying to force you to do what they're doing but they're not doing that great either. Very few is and can. Many cannot and it's sad.

You deserve to be loved and be treated with respect. If a man cannot do that, don't date him. Period. No matter what your friends or other people are doing. It's their life, but it doesn't always mean that they are happy or have good relationships either. If they have more than one partner and just get any guy, it's dysfunctional and unhealthy. Not every relationship is what many think it is. If your friends can easily get into relationships but not maintain one, that is not a mindset you should pursue. I used to get that growing up. I now don't that is because of a lot of reasons. But if your not really what they are seeking remember that you are not at fault but that doesn't mean they love your friends or other women either. They seek opportunities as your friends seek sexual opportunities. You want to be loved, your friends probably want sexual excitement. Those attitudes are now considered valuable over modesty and Godly values.

It doesn't matter what you are into or not. A man who treats any woman as a sex object is not a man you want to be involved with. Period. Those types of guys want sex and that is all they see.

In this day in age, men use flirting as a means of hint-hinting interest (the majority of the time). The next time they do, get into long conversation with them and get a taste of their personality.
