I’m 20, in college and I almost never get hit on like my friends do. When I go out with friends guys hit on them, call them hot... but they never compliment me. This applies to events on and off campus that we attend.
Im not desperate for guys to hit on me but it makes me wonder if no guys ask me out or compliment my looks, it must mean I’m not as attractive as my friends right?
How can I make myself more attractive to guys so that they ask me out or notice me, especially when I’m surrounded by other girls? Any advice is appreciated!
Are you more reserved than them? That's the only reason I can think of, because you're extremely attractive and have a great smile (which makes a woman more approachable).
I know lots of young women would rather not approach guys, but if you're willing to do that and can do it adroitly, you will have them eating out of your hand. Also, don't be afraid to ask a guy out if you're interested in him- he may assume you aren't single because we often assume really attractive women couldn't possibly be single.
Finally, try to do activities without your friends at school.
When a man senses the vibe that you’re unapproachable, there isn’t enough leg or cleavage showing that will fix it. My advice is as follows: 1. Make eye contact... smile and look away. 2. Separate yourself from your friends now and again so that a guy can approach you with nobody around. 3. When talking in a group make sure you give your 2 cents.. don't let everyone else take over conversations. Be a leader of women.

I’m just saying that when I go out with friends they get approached so I don’t think it’s reason #2.
Maybe you have resting bitch face. Doesn't seem so from the pic, but who knows. Also maybe you just generally seem unapproachabel. I kind felt the same way you did, but then I've realized that it's really my fault because every time I notice a guy looking at me I feel awkward and look away, or pretend I'm busy doing something else. So of course no one will approach you under such circumstances. I definitely don't think the way you look is the problem.
Maybe they think you're intimidating or unapproachable. See you're very pretty and you are very dateable and girlfriend material. But some guys get intimidated because you might seem so uptight or you seem unbothered by men that they won't have the guts to say hi or flirt with you without the fear of rejection.

But anyway you look equally as good looking as your friend, maybe slightly more even. I would suggest maybe you look bored or nervous when you're out, not smiling etc., or you're too loud and confident. Or drunk. Those are not conducive to being approached. If you wanna increase your chances of being approached, don't be with more than 2 friends at a time, or even better go stand by yourself every now and then in an open space where guys will see you and eyeball the fuck out of them so they come say hi.

You're definitely attractive, but what guy are you looking for? Some girls that I've seen are looking for guys of a certain type but aren't getting it reciprocated because the guy may feel you are out of his league.
I know that shy guys won't approach you unless the situation is right but I'm surprised you're not hit on more often (maybe you are getting hit on but just don't interpret it as that).
So I think your issue is that maybe you are looking for a certain type of guy as opposed to just guys in general.

I know I am worst at English jokes or pun o or whatever you call this there. If I was your guy friend I would try my best to attract you. You dont need to worry about it. You are lucky that guys don't get attracted to you just because of physical attraction. You can try to improve your topics of discussion or some kind of light flirting with guys you think are attracted by you or give you some kind of attention.
Well your pic says it all, you're way prettier than most girls I know hence why no one would approach you, guys mostly hit on girls they think they have a chance with, so when you're too hot basically no one thinks he even has a chance at all so doesn't even try
This is the case, OP. If we think that you are too pretty, we just assume that you already have a boyfriend and there's no way you would say yes to us, so we don't even bother because we know we'll just get rejected and no one likes being rejected. You may have to end up going to the guy first, then once he understands you're interested, he'll come back at you in a big way probably.
I'm going to hope this is not an attempt at fishing for compliments.
First thing I would suggest is to get away from friends. Guys don't approach packs. Secondly, guys don't approach anyone all too much nowadays because of the whole MeToo culture. So I wouldn't really take this personally. And trust me, most women don't give hit on (in person) nearly as much as you might think. Online is a whole different ball game though..

Then clearly you're the common denominator. Maybe you have RBF, maybe you seem to innocent (guys sometimes don't bother with innocent looking types - clingy). I don't know.
Well, you're totally cute, so that's not it. I don't know your personality; that would be the next thing I'd look at. But you know, sometimes things just happen; people fall through the cracks, even if they're nice and pretty. Maybe being a bit more assertive would help? Again, it goes to personality. Since I don't know you, the most I can do is shoot in the dark.
They might find you threatening (not in the violent way) or otherwise hard to approach. It could be that when you're passive you give off an introverted vibe or something? It's impossible to say really.
If it makes you feel any better it's not because of your looks.
You're both attractive, well actually, I find you more attractive than your friend. Some guys may just feel you'l reject them because you are attractive. Best advice someone who knows nothing (me) that I can give is try to separate yourself. Guys are more likely to approach when you're alone compared to in groups.
Couldn't tell you why you're singled out and not hit on, maybe you're just unlucky haha?
Guys won't get enough from a girl who's good looking, polite, shy She must get that thing that most guys are looking for which is sex... Oh, lack of compliments and stuff... Look, most people think only of themselves. Even if they do compliment someone, they do it for some personal purposes: not to make somebody feel better, but, most likely, to make somebody feel better about them (!). The reason why no one flirts with you is because no one finds you frivolous, and this fact stands for a great compliment itself. So cheer up! You're very pretty. One day you'll be with someone you deserve to be with.
Actually, you may be better off. It seems so many of the guys who are doing that only want sex. Navigate into situations that don't have a lot of players. Then let your personality shine and she if you don't get better results.
In a weird way they might think you're to respectable and see your friends as the easy ones. I go for the respectable ones, the adventure endures longer.
Maybe you're not as attractive as your friends. Maybe they're doing something that you're not. Maybe you're not approachable. Maybe you just don't notice the guys giving you attention because they're not your type.

You might just be out of their league and thus making you hard to approach bc you really are very pretty but i would not hit on you bc i myself am ugly and you would be too pretty for me lol
In my situation you would be to hot to approach and there is fear of rejection on my part... not all guys are the same obviously but that's why I wouldn't talk to you.
Some girls for example, seriously lack some class and it can be really repulsive. Some just look too shy and it doesn't make you want to "open her shell up", especially if you think you're a bad flirter.
You’ve never met me so you Can’t say I have a “very bad personality” and secondly, the guys that flirt with my friends when we go out are strangers so they don’t know which one of us has the best personality before they approach my friends.
It's always for one of two reasons. I didn't want to say it initially but you're inability to accept an opinion that leads me to question: Well I guess you're ugly then?
