Ghosted after 5 or 6 dates?

I understand 1 or 2 dates but she suggested and wanted to pay for the next date. Maybe I wasn't clear, but I told her I didn't have time to go on another date that same week, but could the next week. Not sure what happened, but in my opinion 5 to 6 dates is a lot of time money and effort to out into someone only to never be heard from again. at least turn it into a friendship. Opinions?

Yes, ghosting after five or six dates is a shitty thing to do and it reveals a very unpleasant and self-centered aspect of her character. Add that into the equation when you think about how much you miss her.

You can be friends and not talk about what you do with a boyfriend/girlfriend. I think that's common sense. I'm not attached to this girl, but just went with it thinking I could turn it into a friendship if it didn't work out. Nope... Guess not

Most people cannot go backwards in a relationship. You may be an exception but she probably is not.

True because like you said, they don't want to see who you date next, but if they ghosted me then Cleary they aren't attracted to me and I don't see why we can't just hang out as friends.
