When I said to the guy I like have a crush on I want more than just sex he told me to chill out and now he's acting weird I then asked him if he liked me just as a friend and he said he's still getting to know me and I said why kissed and he's gone quiet now was in the wrong for being honest?

You weren't wrong for being honest. Honesty is almost always good.

Unfortunately what happened here was: you didn't get the "answer" from him that you were hoping for in being honest. It straight-up sucks when that happens. No two ways about it. It sucks.

But being honest wasn't your mistake. You didn't know if things could be more between the two of you unless you took the chance. You at least got your answer, and won't be left wondering. That answer is that he was happy with things the way things are and doesn't want anything more. That's obviously not what you were hoping he'd say. But this would have been true (him not wanting more) whether or not you had been honest. I'm sorry this didn't go your way.

Now, you basically have to decide if YOU are content to have things continue how they were. If you are, then, I'm sure you can have the conversation you need to in order to explain that to him. But... be careful having sex with someone you have feelings for who doesn't feel the same way... that's almost certainly going to be painful for you.
