Why Can't Men Understand Women's Emotions?

Question

I have had people who I have liked or (crushed on). How do some guys know what their romantic interest is into, and others like me have no clue. Also ladies, do you ever pick up on the guys trying to get a hold of your feelings for him?

Men learn/are told, to swallow their feelings when they are young. When a boy falls off his bike ans cries his dad will tell him to man up.

A lot of men have learned to hide uncomfortable emotions from themselves and their loved ones. It's extremely detrimental to men's mental health but they all do it at some point or another.

Women (at least in my experience) do not hide their emotions the same way. And that is confusing to men. Because we are so used to hiding emotions that we don't understand why someone would want to be so public about their feelings.

It takes spending time with a woman in a non romantic way to truly understand how easy it is to be open about your emotions with someone you trust.

I can understand emotions better than women. Example you have felt angry, happy or sad right? You have ability to feel emotions thats part 1, next is to pay attention and notice when and where, what emotions come up then analyze and with time things start to make sense. That's super small picture just for an idea.
But it does come down to your abilities to learn and being open minded. Which most guys dont have.

Men usually don't form emotional attachments very easily. They don't act based on emotions very often. Men usually are very firm in their emotions once they have them, as in they rarely change.

Women form emotional attachments very easily. The usually act primarily based on their emotions. Women usually have shallow emotions, as in they change or fluctuate extremely quickly.

So as a guy, when a woman is super attached to something emotionally at the drop of a hat it's weird. When she uses her emotions to make decisions instead of rationality it's weird. When she then has zero emotions for something she just liked or loved it's weird.

Men and women are extremely different when it comes to emotions.

You can thank those, that raised boys from a young age to eject emotions (how did they say? only girls/weak sissies cry or something like that?) and thus they became emotionless robots. Destroyed from the inside out. I think that's why we have difficulty understanding women's emotions.

And now we have a whole bunch of men, that experience nothing but sadness and sorrow and unable to deal with it and sometimes resort to alcoholism - all hidden behind their closed doors after they came from the outside playing Mr. Tough Guy.

Guys don't understand women's emotions, because they are guys, not women. That doesn't mean that they can't learn and understand a lot, but they will never understand women's emotions in the sense that women understand them. Just like women will never really understand men's emotions.

Its not their emotions we dont understand. Its their reasoning behind them. The severe fluctuations of them. Men aren't like that. Sure, we can be emotional and impulsive but there is almost always a clear catalyst and precursor that led to said impulsive act. with women it seems to come from no where tangible, likely because it develops in their own head.

Men base their emotions on how things are going. Women base how things are going based on their emotions.

I think we all have the ability to understand women's emotions, but there is a fine line between the emotions that are not managed and those that are.

If someone is being complicated, that means that choosing to be that way and plus there's always a reason why. Some people have difficulty expressing themselves because they're lack of experience in communication and some are just plain manipulative

But it's possible to understand. When you have a women loving you, she will help you understand her (directly or indirectly).

Women are indirect, so you gotta learn to read between lines, body language, tonality, comparing action with words etc.

Reading her actions, instead of her words, is a good way to assess what's going on.

Because women think differently then men. I understand women because I have taken classes on how we think and understand plus anatomy this give me a full understanding on what they go through every month and the changes they go through plus how they think different. A example is women are less risky then guys they will only do something if the risk is low but guys will take big risks if they choose to. One more is they go through three emotional changes every month. How they ack reflect it.

To better understand both sides, women should set aside their emotions and think logically more often, while men should show the emotions they contain more often.
