How narrow is my dating pool?

So I posted this question anonymously some months ago, but I realise I get less opinions when anonymous so.
I'm curious, from somebody who is genderfluid afab, my gender changes so I'm unsure if someone strictly straight or lesbian/gay would want to date me.
I've had a straight potential partner tell me it didn't bother him, but another tell me that if I wasn't 100% female all the time then no because he was straight and didn't want anyone thinking he was gay, and a lesbian potential tell me she didn't want to date a guy.
The gender of my partner has never been a factor for me but it has occurred to me that it is a factor for others, and I guess I just want to see how narrow my dating pool is.

I am not strictly attracted to guys either, I'm attracted to everyone regardless of gender so that includes women too

What does it actually imply, to be genderfluid, if I am not wrong you were born with a female body, so... sometimes you feel like a male? you act like a male? and also... for how long would this switch last?

see... I could ask so many things about this, and could talk about it with you for hours and days probably, because I am that genuinely curious and because I don't know about this first hand, not even second hand... would that be something to bother you? or is it something you're willing to do, when looking for a potential partner?

it would be a great factor to me because... one of the most importants aspects of my relationships are understanding and to actually to get to know the one I would be with.

I'm actually quite happy to answer questions when they're respectful, and to answer yours yes I was born female and the best way to describe it is probably yes sometimes I feel male or masculine the same way someone who is transgender would (though I don't consider myself trans because I have not transitioned from one thing to another, I am in flux) I experience gender dysphoria and present as male to combat that. Usually the "switch" will last anywhere from a day to a week, though it can still be a muddle figuring out how I feel on any given day.
As you said understanding and getting to know any potential partner is an important aspect of a relationship, and I'm happy to answer questions if people want to know.

Sounds like you have a very slim dating pool to me. So if you do meet someone do not be picky because even if they accept you as a person most wouldn't want to date you. They may try to be the political correct person but in the end they will find an excuse for it to not be about that, even if it is.

I would say that your dating pool is quite narrow. Gender fluidity is going to take a special person to attract.
