Would you date a girl who is unemployed?

I'm wondering if men would date, or ask a girl to be he's girlfriend, if she is unemployed.
She is educated and has a degree but can't seem to find a job since the pandemic. She is looking though... Would you still date her or would that make her a turn off?

Yeah I would, I don’t date based only on present moment but future potential as well.


If she’s going through a rough patch it’s all good and it’s all temporary. I would still date her and go on cheap dates to make her feel good and try my best to distract her mind if I was really into her.

So she wants to live a non traditional life but wants the benefits of a man acting in traditional ways and giving her things? That would be a massively unfair situation to the guy. She's probably likely to date multiple guys at the same time and 'forget' to mention it to him too. That's also a modern, non traditional approach to life.

And as a traditional male, I never dated when I was unemployed/broke, even once in my life. The priority was to not be a burden. Not sure exactly where you view your role being tho.

I've never cared whether a girl is employed or not. The only thing I care about is if I have chemistry with her (similar views, interests, goals, sense of humor, way of communicating, etc).

On the other hand, girls tend to care very much if a guy has a job or has his life together. I currently don't have my life together and notice I'm definitely not desired lol.

It’s the girl that’s important not her employment status, even if working her current wage. I am not even worried what her education is like, the main thing is she’s a nice person and ticks rest of what I like.
