Women will never tell guys the actual secret key to women. They always say complete opposite of the they really want. Ask any female what she wants in a man. She’ll feed you with a bunch of bullshit.
For example she’ll say I just want a man who’s nice, will do anything for me, and treats me like I’m the only girl in the world. When in the real dating world women will devour men like that.
So with that being said why are men still going to women for relationship advice? You’re setting yourself up for failure.
They seek it from women because they believe that women will generally know what most women like. Of course, every woman is different and it's true that some tend to go for the complete opposite of what they say they want, or play games. Still, there are women out there who really are honest about what they want as well. I find though that at your age (as it says you're under 18), it's very common for people to play games or go for the "bad boy" type (and as a result, usually end up with their hearts broken, but at that age I guess it seems "adventurous" to them; the teens are kind of a weird age, really).
It's also important to differentiate between a genuinely nice and caring guy and one who is putting on an act in order to get his way, and throws a baby tantrum any time the feelings aren't mutual. There's a huge difference. The fact is that sometimes the feelings aren't mutual, the two don't have much in common or have different paths they want to take in life, or there is just no chemistry/connection/"spark"/whatever you want to call it, as well as the fact that people can't really help who they are or aren't attracted to. It isn't personal, it just doesn't always work out.
I do understand the frustration of having someone prioritize someone who treats them like shit over you when you genuinely care and treat them well, though. Unfortunately, there will always be people like that, both male and female (and this even happens in platonic relationships like with friends and family). The best thing you can do is know your worth and surround yourself with people who also know your worth and recognize and appreciate what you do for them.

I don’t know why this question cracked me up, but it did. First off, women have different preferences. For me, personally, I’m not the “alpha” type of girl. I don’t devour men, I get scared whilst talking to guys. Second of all, women understand other women than a guy does. But I do take advice from different friends for different types of problems. I have a guy best friend who gives me relationship advice (he’s straight) and he has told me that he gets jealous when I talk to other guys, but at the same time, he wants to see me happy. My girl friends and I can discuss about guys. For example, let’s say a guy called Noah asks me out. He’s this really hot guy who’s in the school’s football team, he’s a jock, nice personality, treats everyone with respect and all. So I go to my girl friends and I say what happened, that the guy asked me out, they’d actually know everything there’s about him. Girls talk a lot. They have personal experiences from the girl’s point of view. These are the reasons why girls take dating advice from women. I take dating advice from both my guy and girl best friends.
My brother takes dating advice from me (older brother, he’s 21) and I don’t think he’s gonna take dating advice from his girl best friends because most of them have a crush on him, and that’d be weird. Different women have different preferences. You can’t just ask me “what do women want” and expect me to answer that. And not all guys always take dating a device from women. Some do take advice from their guy best friends.

They can help them from the girl’s POV. Sometimes men cannot pick up the hints that we girls leave, at those times, who else would know whether they’re hints or not than a girl?

Well, usually in life. If you want learn something and be involved with people who are experts at what you want to know, you ask the people who are the kind of people you want to be and be around. Nobody ever bothered to tell me that you cannot do that with women. Nobody told me that what women say and what they do are consistently different. So in my young life, I set out to be the man every woman wants. I talked to females platonically, I read their magazines and even some books about relationships. Then I put it into practice... The crash and burn was spectacular. Even if a woman liked me, being super nice and attentive would slide me into the friend zone with their gay friends. It was a sheer disaster, I was a doormat. I was 'so nice' and 'sweet' and getting nowhere. So lesson, yeah don't listen to the women and don't listen to the men who pander to the women. Listen to the men who are successful with women. Not the smash and dash guys, they may get you laid but that's it. Listen to the dudes who have and accomplish what you want to accomplish. Women's advice isn't intentionally bad, its just that you aren't the right audience. The men they have in mind are out of reach for them and what they are telling you is how they want to be treated by those men who are out of reach for them. That's why they say one thing, but do the complete opposite. The men these women want aren't going to ever ask them for advice on how to catch them.
No offense ladies:) But I would recommend listening to men who are good with women rather than asking women. There's a certain chemistry IRL & women are much more adept at picking up body language than men. There's a whole conversation going on that most men don't pick up on. You need to learn how to create a filter to find the type of woman you want, they're not all the same.
I always say the key is to lose your expectations, it comes off desperate & any women worth her salt can smell desperation miles away, complete turn-off; instead think of trying to create a fun atmosphere & make your goal something simple like winning a smile:)

first off my best friend is a girl, I have a sister.
from an early age both would offer suggestions on how to approach a certain girl, what she liked, what she did not, what music she was into, loads of stuff.
when a little older both would comment about clothes, how to interact with a girl, what was nice, okay and what was creepy.
even now, I have a bunch of mates, mainly girls but a mix of sexualities, we give each other advice all time.
We even go as far as say two of the girls going with me or another guy, when we are interested in a girl, that way they can make initial chatting, and it’s not me being a guy on his own simply hitting on a girl.

Like any idealised or generalised advice from unvetted strangers, you gotta discard the outer husk to get at the kernel of truth inside it. I alsp find you gotta use the "3X Rule" that Jimp Camp writes about in his book on negotiation. That is, you gotta ask the same question three times in slightly different ways to peel away their "truest" answer, like peeling layers off an onion. "I want a nice guy" is a surface level response that, while not entirely false, is also not the complete picture.
I suspect the more accurate answer would probably be something like "I want a man who COULD be dangerous if he wanted to, but he CHOOSES to be a man of peace instead." As the saying goes, "better to be a samurai in a garden than a gardener on a battlefield". But such a statement takes a level of introspection and interrogation of one's own desires, that frankly, just isn't gonna happen in the precise moment you first ask for blanket dating advice. There's also the bias people have where they want to please the questioner/researcher, hence why in scientific questionnaire studies they actually have to calculate margins of error because of this bias, and take steps to mitigate it. Of course most women want to be seen in broad daylight as being straightforward and virtuous in their selection of sexual mates. But what happens in the shadows they would never admit in the public eye.
I've also found it's good to have some platonic girl friends to just talk about dating and relationship stuff with. Not so much for actually getting advice, but more just for the affirmation that I'm not about to do something stupid in front of my crush and ruin everything. Women don't always know what they want in matters of the heart, but they can tell you what they DON'T want.

Because men have tendency to be kinda thick headed and don't know what the opposite sex likes, so they will ask female friends to get their take and run with that information as general law. Or it's lack of confidence.
Take it from one of those guys, I value a woman's opinion on relationships 10 fold over a man's, primarily because most men seem to think with the wrong head near 24/7 plus last guy I asked advice from ended up dating my crush behind my back then bragged about seeing her 'toys' and seeing her nude, women are likely to never do that because men are pigs and women just aren't. Plus as a demisexual guy I'm not looking for a horndogs advice because I'm not a horndog, women seem to be more in touch with the romantic and emotional side of relationships and men just seem to be, well... Let's just say they aren't built for that. Most of that is most true in older generations and less common in younger ones but my point stands.

I've had a crush on bad boys as well but they're not worth my attention nor time. I want a guy who is going to treat me like his queen because that's what I am. He needs to be mature. so true especially about the nice ones, when I was 21/22 a friend of my mums she knew me well tried getting a friends daughter age 21 to go out with me, she had a baby by one guy that cheated on her, and was interested in a guy that cheated and used his fists. Her words he's too nice. I witnessed my mum beaten from age 9 that was just the first I threatened my father when I was 15 the violence stopped but it was then mental cruelty. The thing I would NEVER change is become violent just to be excepted, think of the child's development, I was confident as a 7 year old to have a girlfriend we kept kissing. I couldn't have friends when he was around and we lived in a small village so I didn't know any other lads where I lived, I went back over I became scared of any relationship breaking up, I hated shouting, at 21 I moved to near my work I bought my own house I have aspergers, I listened to people my friends at school if I knew what to suggest I would tell them if I didn't, I would find someone that could give me that info then pass it on so I thought everyone was the same, I had flashbacks of the trauma at 22 I had counselling for PTSD some of the men I worked with was asking questions and told them thinking they wanted to understand they spread lies around that I was mental, don't go near him he's mental I had cruel remarks written on walls I had one jerk say about the trigger events would it mean something to you? I became a recluse outside work and lost trust in yet more people as I had only lived there a year I didn't know anyone outside work so the counsellor was trying to get me better but it was being undone by others so it effected my mind more I started hating men but enjoyed women's company I wasn't mental it was post traumatic stress disorder.. my point is why risk your child's whole life because the mother wanted danger?
Your mum probably had stockholm syndrom and may had some mental issues like my aunt. My aunt also has an abusive husband andmy mum is done with her since my mum try her best to make her leave him, but she still stays with him
I prefer to target my advice to women. I better understand the female experience and I think a lot of issues aren’t really with men, but the way women react to men, particularly in how women put up with way too much bs from the men in their lives. It’s much easier to get results by coaching women to react properly to men. However, there are men who still seek my advice and I’ll consult them in whatever way I see fit. Some don’t like that I don’t tell them what they want ant to hear, but I tell them what they need to hear. Many say I’ve helped them.
It's interesting how so much dating advice for both genders seems to amount to "stop being too agreeable".
Men are taught, with some validity, to "not put women on pedestals" and handle women's "shit tests".
Women are taught, with about equal validity (if not more so, since women statistically are somewhat more agreeable than men by aggregate) to identify and call out narcissism, misogyny, or general assholery from men they date.
You strike me as someone who was either born with a relatively disagreeable personality, or developed it at some point in life, so I can picture your advice for women being quite lucid and interesting in regards to "not putting up with BS".

Thank you for your insight. Much of my advice towards women comes from my own experience in being burned by being too agreeable, and being the one that cares more. I’m still not perfect at it.
My man is more outspoken when something is important, but he also knows when to pick his battles and keep his mouth shut. That’s an art in itself. Him and I even have debates and I’ve noticed that he knows how to add his two cents from logic while considering that it’s ok if others don’t agree. He’s also very intuitive for a man when it comes to how people think and act. I really appreciate his opinions. However, a lot of people aren’t so tactful with their opinions which can be obnoxious.
Makes sense. Your fella sounds like the sort I could sit and enjoy a pint with lol, I'm quite similar in that I have strong opinions but also a good measure of tact and restraint. Like, I'll happily red pill someone if theh ask my honest opinion, but THEY have to ask ME, I'd never just attack someone's beliefs or ideas unprovoked, maybe unless they're being a bully or asshole to others. You're bang on about there being a time and place for being disagreeable or even harsh. If anything, I see problems arise when "nice guys" or "naive girls" over-corrected and become cold-blooded robots and full of misplaced aggression. People should be chill and friendly until given demonstrable reason to get the big guns out. Ideally the reason should be good enough that bystanders could validate it after the fact.
Women won't tell men the "secret key" to women because that doesn't exist. Women don't all think alike and that should absolutely be considered if you ask women for advice. But women certainly understand other women better than the average guy does. Whether or not you choose to believe what they say is up to you.

If people believe they are short and ugly then that will definitely come across as negative when meeting women. I am only 5'6 and that has never stopped me from doing my thing.

To be honest, I'd consider a dating coach. But I don't have ten grand lying around for Ms. Noble to simp me out of. If it was something like, $150, $200 (that's not that much to me), I'd try it out.
Bootcamps like hers gives you the opportunity to approach a lot of women and get feeback very quickly on what you are doing right and wrong. I know she has online bootcamps as well. Most times it's not a dating coach you need it's practice talking to women is what most men need and you can do that on your own. Just take out the expectations and outcome when doing it and use it for data purposes. Most guys talk to women wanting a certain outcome. This is when they hold back and are scared to really let loose and just be themselves. So I tell them do it without the outcome. Just do it for practice.
@coachTanthony I already have done that, and pretty much still do. That's what everyone says. "Take out the fear of an expected outcome and just 'see what happens.'" I'm still 0 - ∞. So I'm no even expecting any woman to enter my life anymore. It'd be the surprise of the decade if one, by damn-near literal magic, did.
If you are still zero then I would drop some money and get help. Unless it's not that important to you then move on with your life and enjoy it. @canucker90 Guys aren't simpler to understand because the same applies to men as well. You can say all men love a woman to dress sexy, therefore wear something sexy on the date, but there are plenty of conservative men who don't want a partner that does that. Being a human is complex because each person is unique. I never understood that joke, but after some time, and some self-discovery, what I can tell you (and if you can agree with it), is that even us women don't know exactly what we really need and/or want for ourselves, because our minds can become a mess of thoughts and emotions (although the same can be with men, it is just that men have been more educated to apply more logic and reason in both their desicions and solutions for problems and separate feelings and emotions for a moment).

I can respect women I have zero interest in. I’m (politely) honest with them.
Because sometimes female advice seems more realistic and isn´t about getting into a womans pants. Most guys that claim they wanna help guys understand woman better and help shy or unexperienced guys to get into a relationship are often time just interested in talking about sex or sexual activity but provide no help for building up a long term relationship. Males that are successful with women often aren´t giving out helpful advice either. There are some advices I got females that were actually helpful. They didn´t give me every secret or a list of advises I´d get every girl with but I doubt that would be possible or helpful.
Generally speaking, you are correct that it's unwise to take dating advise on women from women. The reason has to do with evolutionary biology and psychology and it's conflict with sociology. Women tend to advise or openly disclose what is more politically correct option or what they would like that they find attractive in men. However, desire cannot be negotiated nor politically corrected. Now the conflict is when society conditions or dictates that women ought to think in certain way or value certain traits in men. The main reason being that evolutionary and this generic superiority doesn't always agree with socio economic superiority in human societies. So in short, always seek dating advice from the minority of men who have secured sexual selection.
Ask the fisherman on how to catch fish, not the fish itself. Because they think that women know best what other women want. In reality, their advice to you is more about them than it is to help you out. They make you hear what you want to hear, not what you have to hear. This is so your 'relationship' with whom is giving the "advice" remains on a good line. It is a reputation thing.
In reality, the way women generally give advice about dating women, men should never take dating advice from women.
All dating gurus are full of shit because people are individuals (especially people like dan bacon, or a lot of the "alpha" male bullshitters on this site).
But your premise is false, plenty of women are nice, want nice guys, know what they want, are honest about it, and give good advice.
Plenty of guys give good advice too, but none of that advice is going to be a magic bullet, because the best advice is just be yourself, and look for someone who mentally is just like you.
If you are stuck in the bs notion that men think like men and women think like women, then you have fallen into the stereotype bullshit trap, and any ideas you come up with while thinking that way are going to be completely worthless garbage that won't help anyone find love.
stereotypes exist for a reason, and that reason is people are fucking dumb and project their limited experiences with a few people on how everyone else *must* also be.
Men take dating advice from women because it logically makes sense to on some level. Presumably the women know what they're attracted to so asking them seems like the best course of action.
However, this all presumes that 1) the women you're talking to are self-aware enough to give sound advice, 2) they can tailor it to the male-experience, and 3) they're honest with you instead of giving you the politically-correct answer. All three are difficult to come by in any given woman and you're more likely to find a woman who can't even get one of these. Let's be honest, most women under the age of 30 aren't self-aware. They base everything on their feelings, but have little idea of why they feel that way. So any advice they give is usually vague and abstract, and you wind up with a few pieces to a 100-piece puzzle.
(Lesbian here) because one women might give advice that is based from her personal wants, needs & morals & the girl you are going for may be completely different from the advice you just received, so that advice you got, just went down the toilet. I wouldn’t take dating advice from guys or women. I would just try to get to know the woman first & do what works for that girl & communicate with her to know what she wants & needs in that relationship.
I do this for a living so, I can’t lie. Anyways.. let’s break down men. You’ve got alpha and beta. Alpha men are hated men, they’re hated by society the surroundings and they go through a lot of hardships.
Beta men kiss women’s a22 in hopes she’ll put out. They never disagree with anything she does or says. They throw meaningless compliments special beginning at girls. In hopes she’ll like them, The very spineless they have no leaderships skills and they talk to a girl like she’s a baby.
At the beginning you wanna fish out the normal confident guys? (Alpha men) If a guy talks to you normally, is the key. If a guy takes of his style of style and eating habits and cares about fitness and success and doesn’t get nervous around hot girls. That’s the guy want.
