It would be completely natural to date single women , I did exactly that for many years , don't think I had a girlfriend hardly ever who had a child. It is pointless to put a tag on a single father , he often has commitments and is honorable , he should not be tied to any particular market group , he can date whoever he likes , just because a marriage has ended , and you have no idea of how that relationship ended.
If he's a good bloke , and a nice guy that's all that matters , no need to overthink it.

Joint custody might mean they actually don’t have the Kids with them much of the time.
Dating women with children at home can be especially difficult for fathers who have their Kids with them some of the time, so it’s easier to date women without children.

I get approached a lot by single dads. I like three of them. One is very sexual towards me but says he wants to get to know me. by the way I haven’t slept with him yet but he constantly asks me for sleepover. It’s been two years he is single. The other one divorce is yet to be finalized and the third divorce is done but even he is very sexual towards me. All in all I want to say is they like me enough to invite them to their place to spend time with them and kids.

What confuses me is why do you send me pics of your kids and videos ( met online initial texts) and then jump into askin for sex and fun. Are they serious to getting to know me or what?

Basically is preselection bias. For the rest of his life woman will see a man that has proof that another woman at some point validated him as safe and has kids with him. Honestly that guy’s probably getting hit up by a lot of women because preselection bias is a real bitch.

I can't speak to expectations, I suspect it's because they want someone who doesn't have the same baggage that they do and don't have skewed expectations of them due to the other divorce.
