Is it okay if my boyfriend likes to hang out with girls more than boys?

My boyfriend told me “he doesn’t like to hang out with guys” and when I asked him to say it again, he changed it to: “there aren’t many guys I don’t like”. This worried me a bit, Am I overthinking?

I made a type… he replied with: “ I don’t know many guys that I like to hang out with” I feel like he is implying that he hangs out with more girls… and it makes me feel uncomfortable, but Am I overthinking?

You aren’t overthinking in my opinion. Is there a reason why he doesn’t prefer to hang with guys or is he unlikeable to other guys? That’s a red flag in my opinion, but then again I prefer a guy that is friendly to everyone. I feel like it’s hard for a guy not to get along with other guys.

I don't have a single girl friend but I have many guy friends and we do typical guy stuff. I don't know why your boyfriend doesn't get along with guys very well. Maybe he's insecure around them or can't relate with them?

Well you probably should ask him or is he one of those player types?

He’s not a player… but I do know that he is really close with his sister, and so he knows a lot of her friends… maybe that’s why he likes to hang around guys… but I don't know it’s weird

No he is saying what he means. He wishes he had more male friends. Hard to be a good leader when you dont have any good examples and I was feeling the same way years ago. He should go to the gym. I meet someone almost every time i go

If I had a girlfriend, I would be hanging out with her and giving her my whole unconditional love, I would not be hanging out with girls for friends I just feel
too many things could happen

what does it mean to hang out with girls... you mean without you? one on one or groups?

I’m not sure… but he doesn’t hang out with them one on one that I know of

so he's hanging out with a group of girls, are you invited? I understand being more interested in talking with women as they are more interesting and talk more. Guys dont interact the same, it's harder to get them to communicate and communication is surface and logic. Women share more detail which is interesting.

I learned it doesn't work to have other women around. Even if he's platonic, an emotional connection can be just as unnerving for you. how you going to feel if he shares details of your relationship with other women, your disagreements, quirks, etc.. And that comes back around in social settings, etc.. It just causes problems.

I have lots of experience here that says he will have to ditch the girl friends.
