My boyfriend pays more attention to his "girl" friends than he does to me?

My boyfriend and my best friend are really close friends. We all hang out together (with my friend's boyfriend too) and have a really good time together, but it seems like my boyfriend cares more about his friendship with my friend than he does about me. I've tried to talk to him about this, but every time I do he always says he's sorry and really wants to be with me. He's always calling her, talking to her on Facebook and stuff, but if I want to talk to him, I always have to be the one to call him. I don't want to break up with him, but I don't know what to do about this.

He tells you he's sorry and really wants to be with you? That just seems like he's saying, Yeah - he's into her but he's sorry. If he wasn't he would just say that you don't have anything to worry about. I'd lose him, do you really want anything but number 1, to you own boyfriend?

I was told before that "You shouldn't make someone a priority in your life when you are only an option in theirs." I think that sums up your situation. He likes you, but you are an option, not his priority. I think you should see how things go if you stop seeing him.
