My boyfriend gives his female friend more attention than me?

Hi, Okay so I've been dating my boyfriend for a year now. And before us he has had this female friend he's been friends with for awhile. We've had a conversation regrading her before that she's just a friend and that nothing is happening between them, but honestly. My boyfriend puts more effort into their friendship then our relationship, He talks to her more than he talks to me, tags her in memes and she tags him in memes, takes her for dinner occasionally. Now people are assuming that they are together and than i'm just a third wheel... Like I don't know if i should just let this situation go, or just talk to him about it? I don't mind him having female friends but its just that he will literally prioritized her before me and it makes me feel awful.

There's never any harm in talking things out. It may be cliche, but communication is key an any and every relationship. I would even suggest talking to his female friend after you talk to him. But let him know, going behind his back could make things unnecessarily ugly. Just remember that it's all about the approach. You have every right to express how you feel.

Female best friends are tough. If he doesn't know that you feel insecure he should know. That being said, you shouldn't scold him or anything. Just let him know how you feel and see how he acts.

Maybe he cares about you enough to back off a bit from his friend or make special time just for you. Maybe he won't... And that will be just as valuable to know.
