There's a girl I know who is very beautiful and does modeling work for magazines & online. When we were hanging out a while back she told me about how sometimes she goes on dinner dates with older men for money. I held back my opinions and decided to ask questions about it, she said it's non sexual and she meets up just for the dinner like a pretend girlfriend experience (she would use a sugar baby site & a fake name for that kind of stuff).
The logic doesn't really make any sense because I personally wouldn't spend 200 to 500 dollars just to go on a date with a very attractive woman with sex not being apart of the equation... She asked me if I'd ever date someone who does that and I didn't know how to respond because instinctually I wanted to say "no" but at the same time I'm very sexually attracted to her and didn't want to make her feel bad or ruin my chances.
Anyways this came to mind again because she recently told me about one of these dates she went on, the guy messaged her on IG saying he'd pay her $500 just to go out for dinner & drinks, she said he looked & sounded like Borat. We just kind of made fun of it while I did some shitty Borat impersonations but I felt confused about the whole situation and thought about that question she asked me a while back.
I know this sounds stupid and I probably shouldn't even care, but I kind of like her and she seems to kind of like me - so I figured I'd ask this question on here and forget about it lol

She is an escort. There are escorts who do not have sex with their clients. If she was having sex with some of her clients, would she disclose this too you? I don't think she would, at least not at this stage in the relationship. This is a business for her, so whatever she does will be emotionally compartmentalized, even if she was having sex with a client, she probably does not do it out of love.
As far as relationship, even escorts need someone to love (emotionally) and share their time with, so you could date her. She seems to bring you food, so she seems to like you. She may have been sexually abused as a child, making it emotionally easier for her to be an escort. Out of an abundance of caution because of the escort business, I would always use a condom. At some point, she will time out of the escort business after she no longer looks young and pretty.
If she is very pretty and treats you well, date her and enjoy life. I would NOT "hit it and quit it." What's the point? Just date her regularly, but there would need to be communication about expectations and I would NOT expect her to quit her business to satisfy your or your friend's egos.
Bear in mind that you may be getting for free what other men pay $500 for. Good luck!

Men need to stop being afraid to have boundaries and standards. I wouldn't go anywhere near a woman like this at all. Only simps will think her behavior is ok. The fact that she is not even ashamed to admit doing so tells you a lot too.

You should care, and it's not stupid. I don't think you have any idea just how low what she's doing is. Reverse the genders... I bet she wouldn't be laughing with you about it at all. Men need to stop giving women free passes just because they look good. If that were me, that woman would never hear from me again. Be mindful of who you give your time, energy, attention, and soul to.
Good points... when I said "I know this sounds stupid and I probably shouldn't care" I meant that in the sense of giving any thought to her situations and maintaining my distance. A part of me feels obligated to say "hey, you really shouldn't do that, and here's why" but I doubt it would sink in or change her behaviour because women today have a bad habit of continuing on destructive paths and refusing to listen when men tell then otherwise.
It's always dangerous. The really clever thing is women have managed to convince men to have no standards when it comes to sex. This allows women much easier access to it (they enjoy it just as much).
Here you are, faced with an attractive woman that is using other men and exhibiting low quality... but you still consider her worthy of sex.
Obviously that's up to you, but I think men need to start having much higher standards when it comes to sex and everything else female related. Everything must be earned or proven...
Valid points... I find this all really upsetting though, I'm average to slightly above average looking with my own style that's constantly evolving. I keep trying to self improve in various aspects of life but I keep coming across bullshit at every turn. When it comes to dating, relationships and sex (and everything else involved with that) I find myself despondent & halfhearted as if I'm numb. I'm beyond the point of disappointment & disillusionment when it comes to some of things women do, I expect it to be some form of horrible no matter what and it's just depends if I'm willing to tolerate it or overlook it (which I'm never able to do no matter how lustful or lonely I may feel atm). I truly hate this, it's appalling how dating/relationships/sex has become, when it should be pure & natural but instead it's cheap & soiled. Everything about it disgusts me and it just keeps getting worse and every once in awhile I'm left with this notion of just conform/join in because nothing matters anyways.
What you are coming across are symptoms of an ego driven collective. Female nature, particularly when ego driven is not motivated by love, but by what a man can provide. This means you will be replaced with any other man that can provide something that you cannot. Therefore men only have 2 options. Learn the game and play it, or walk away (I walked away years ago).
If a man decides to play the game, he will need to understand that everything is emotion, and a delicate balance between pushing her away, and pulling her in. She cannot love you, she can only become obsessed, lust filled, codependent, or needy. She only loves how you make her feel.
The high number of simps also makes things worse because they inflate the ego further creating more ego driven behavior.
Nothing about that surprises me, because it's a well known & common theme these days... a lot of these women are just bad people who can't come to terms with it or even admit their own bad behaviour so they always blame others & play the victim... it's become so common place that I can practically predict what they are going to say before they say it.
She's giving a very limited glimpse of her activities. Sure, she's "entertaining" a few guys for nothing but dinner and drinks, but she's also "entertaining" guys and having sex with them. I wouldn't put much trust in her.
I'm a bit like a moth to a flame with this whole situation, I'm aware of the dangers but I'm still curious... I'm not really willing to invest anything into this for obvious reasons but still I'm debating if I should hookup for the sake of lust/desire but that might be more dangerous than I currently realize.
If you're looking to hook up with her, go for it, but your original thoughts of seriously dating her or having a relationship should be thought over carefully. Keep in mind that many of these girls never "quit" the business entirely. They know how easy it is to pick up a few hundred $$$ for an evenings work and it's tough to pass up that kind of extra money.

It faded because it was replaced with desire, hormones and attraction. The only reason why she's able to do stuff like that in the first place. I have just as much contempt for the idiots that are seeking such things out... offering her money. Both of them are just as foolish.

There are many ways to sell our soul, but notice what they all seem to have in common. Easy or quick money / fame / 'success'. And if she happens to go to dinner with a really hot guy in an area no one knows her, do you really think sex will never be part of the equation?
When it comes to women / people, I always look at how they treat everyone, not just myself. I knew a girl that was lovely to me, but she would make fun of guys that were on the spectrum. This told me all I needed to know about her. But other guys don't even notice because they are blinded by lust and keep on asking me why I'm not responding to her advances.
It's kind of strange because she's bought me food before and whenever we'd hang out she'd come to me so I don't know what to think so I'll remain skeptical & careful
