Should I be honest about why I want to be single instead of lying that "I am not into relationships"?

My real reason is that I'm deeply in love with a guy.
(He's a fictional character but I HATE to call him that).

He's my soulmate but unfortunately he doesn't exist.

I JUST LOVE HIM, HIM AND ONLY HIM.

Sometimes I even cry and get heart ache when I see our intimate times or his pictures!

It's feels like he existed, was in my life but now he's no more :'(
He feels so real and like he was actually my true love BUT he passed away. 😭😭😢😢



P. S - I feel my time is wasted when wrong people hit on me : Temporary ones, flirty guys, needy ones with a hidden agenda and con artists.
I'm much happier, jolly and my heart is filled with infinite love for my fictional guy.

Well, it's up to you I guess, if that makes you happier, but it seems like you'll be missing out on a lifetime of love and adventure waiting for the perfect guy who doesn't exist. I'd talk to my shrink about it honestly. It seems like your desire for a perfect person is going to block you from being with a great person. There will be not-so-great along the way, but that is part of the process.

My fictional character is not perfect. He has flaws like a real human. But whenever I open up, wrong guys adjust according to my personality because they have an agenda to use any decent girl. They only do this to deceive me.

She's saying, that altho someone is interested in her, she's not interested in him. No matter how respectful, polite, works, make good money, loyal he is, she don't want him. She's hanging on to someone from her past, and even tho she knows they will never be together again, just thinking about the way things were between them back then, is better then any thing any 1 now had to offer

It's pandemic. Physical events are not happening that much. Good guys aren't desperate or hitting on women online. They're working on themselves just like I am. They like meaningful relationships rather than hitting on random females acquaintances without even knowing them.

What about, sorry i dont want men at moment. If they say ooh so you might change your mind in future. You can say yes maybe. And then instead of them asking for your number and you giving them. You can counter that by saying look if you want you can give me your number. Guys weak ego isn't hurt and u can throw number in bin when your out of sight. If i was female i would use this type of strategy to deal with them. Cus daying no isn't enought for some guys. They keep pushing.

True but they're my acquaintances or whom I used to consider just friends. I never flirted with them. So they have my number. It's annoying when they text me everyday because I know what they want. One time a guy tried to be so frank then I didn't replied to him since then. It feels bad that some of them first befriend me superficially then try to win me.

Basically they used manipulation to get your number then try push things further. I would text them back something like "so this is how its gonna be? Manipulated me to get my number? And then block their number. I wouldn't like to be bother with nonsense like that either.
If its work related can text them back "text me only about work related things"
Basically you set frame for them to accept or not. And things start to go your way sooner or later.
