Boyfriend went to the movies alone?

Hey everyone, if y'all have any insight on this please do share:)

Basically, my boyfriend had plans to go to the movies with his friends because this new movie came out that everyone wanted to see. I wanted to see it too, and I thought I would be able to tag along with him and his friends but they seemed not to want me there... my boyfriend went anyways and I'm glad he's off enjoying his alone time but we both wanted to see that movie and I'm a bit upset that he went with his friends after they were insinuating they didn't want me there. His friend was getting tickets online for the whole gang and he said he would get my boyfriend a ticket and then said, i'm not getting her one though... something along those lines.

There is a LOT to dissect here.

Initially, I would have gone and seen the film with my friends too. BUT, I would NEVER put up with one of my friends saying to me, 'oh I'm not getting her a ticket' in that belittling tone friends sometimes do. I would have said you know what? Don't get me one either, I'll get 2 tickets instead and we would have gone together (Not US, but you know what I mean)

Sometimes guys just want to hang out with their friends. If you were there his attention would be on you and he wouldn't really get to interact with his friends in the same way. He probably doesn't act the same in his group of male friends as he does with his girlfriend.

Sounds all good. His friends dont like you for some reason maybe you are competing with them. Think about it.
My friends girl was competing with me, i flat out told her i dont like her.

Sounds like they only wanted guys to go, so don't over think this. You could do the same thing with your female friends.
