While there is a grain of truth to this it’s often over done and used to bully people.

Yes you should have a backbone. Always. You should go for what you want in life. You shouldn’t invite conflict but be ready to face it.

But at the end of the day it isn’t that simple. We aren’t wolves and we have much more complicated lives and interactions then this.

For example UFC legend badass GSP is the nicest guy in the world. He was never a trash talker and the few times he tried being that way he sucked at it. If he wasn’t a MMA fighter he would be considered a “beta” by your standards. But he’s the alpha of alphas where it matters. Women loved him to death and he got rich.

Then you got loud mouth bullies who call themselves “alphas”. NYC mayor Andrew Cuomo would be a supposed “alpha” but recent allegations have shown is groping, lying bullying hypocritical piece of shit. Being a Democrat saved him for a long time but it looks like his days are numbered. Is he an “alpha”.

Quite these stupid ass generalizations.
