Its legal to talk to a young woman. You aren't having sex or doing anything sexual. If you do talk to her do not mess up. Do not do anything bad at all no dirty pics on the phone no messing around. Yes, you can go to prison for talking with and being alone a 14-year-old girl. That is, not illegal but what is legal is not what is relevant. Never talk to a 14-year-old girl unless there are other adults, especially women adults present. Even then, if your and/or the girls speech indicates anything romantic, the women present and our society will call you a pedophile.
